Meltzer, Lippe, Goldstein and Schlissel employees fulfilled the wish list they received from the A. Holly Patterson Geriatric Center in Uniondale.

Meltzer, Lippe employees and Cub Scout Pack 363 recently arrived at the nursing home with Santa Clause and sacks of presents. They also sang Christmas Carols and played bingo with the residents.

This year, Meltzer Lippe employees decided to take any extra money they had and spend it on those who might have been forgotten this holiday season.

"Instead of having a 'Secret Santa' in the office and exchanging gifts among the staff, we thought the true essence of the holiday season would be best represented by spending our money and time with the residents of a nursing home," said Karen Goldberg, Meltzer Lippe's personnel administrator.

The 889-bed A. Holly Patterson Geriatric Center is a division of the Nassau Health Care Corp., which owns Nassau University Medical Center, A. Holly Paterson Geriatric Center, and six community health centers.
