Tom has successfully represented major lending institutions, developers, brokers, creditor's committees, corporations, partnerships, officers, shareholders, contractors, owners, sponsors, professionals and bankruptcy trustees. His cases include commercial foreclosures, recovery upon commercial notes and guarantees, fraudulent conveyance and alter ego claims, professional liability claims, workouts, corporate/partnership dissolutions and valuation disputes, estate litigation, discrimination claims, Lanham Act claims, creditors' rights and construction defect and delay claims.

His experience includes the trial of an extremely complicated and complex fraudulent conveyance and alter ego action in the Bankruptcy Court. This action involved offshore lenders, questionable principals, and false and fraudulent tax returns and 10K reports. The trial resulted in a judgment in favor of his client for 100% of its compensatory damages, attorneys' fees and a multimillion dollar punitive damage award.

Tom is a member of the New York State Bar and is admitted to the United States Court of Appeals, Second Circuit and the United States District Court, Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.  He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association, Commercial and Federal Litigation Section as well as a member of the Nassau County Bar Association. 

Tom is on the Board of Directors for The Pederson-Krag Center and the Board of Governors for the Babylon Yacht Club.  He has also lectured on various topics before accountants and attorneys. 

While at Hofstra, Tom was active in Student Government for both New College and the Student Senate. During law school, Tom interned at the United States Attorney's Office. Upon graduation, he was employed by a large national law firm where he concentrated in commercial litigation and appeals.

Tom enjoys scuba diving, skiing, basketball and other sports. He is active in, among other things, the Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Suffolk County Police Reserves.
