John is an associate in the Litigation Group where he handles a wide range of commercial and employment related litigation. John has represented individuals and corporate entities; attorneys and law firms in legal malpractice litigation in which the alleged underlying malpractice involved the handling of litigation; a leading manufacturer of kitchen and bathroom products, fixtures, and accessories in products liability litigation; employers in litigation alleging employment discrimination and wrongful termination; and insurance companies in insurance coverage litigation. John has also defended both individuals and corporate entities in litigation involving toxic torts, premises liability, and construction site liability. Additionally, John successfully represented a now-retired professional athlete in litigation involving a dispute over ownership of trophies and medals won during her career.

John is a member of the New York State Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. Prior to joining Meltzer Lippe, John was an associate at two large nationally recognized law firms where he represented individuals and corporate entities in a wide range of litigation. During law school, John interned at the Manhattan office of the New York State Attorney General in the Civil Rights Bureau.

For the past several years, John has served as a volunteer judge for several legal writing professors at Hofstra Law School critiquing oral arguments presented by law students taking the Appellate Advocacy class. Additionally, John is also an Alumni Admissions Volunteer for his alma mater, Boston College, and serves as an alumni representative of Boston College to several Nassau County high schools.

In his free time, John enjoys sports, traveling, cooking, and whitewater rafting.
