Robert R. Barravecchio is Of Counsel to the Labor and Employment and Litigation Practice Groups of Meltzer Lippe.

Robert represents employers in various areas of litigation, including wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment and retaliation. He has experience defending employers against claims under federal and state civil rights and labor statutes, including Title VII and the Equal Pay Act. He has represented employers in all areas of workplace disputes, including discrimination, retaliation, breach of contract, common-law torts, non-competes, unfair competition, trade secrets, wrongful termination, and constitutional law claims.

Prior to joining Meltzer Lippe, Robert was an Associate in the Labor and Employment Practice Group of the law firm of Epstein, Becker & Green, PC, where he counseled employers in various areas including, developing and enforcing employment policies and complying with federal and state laws.

Robert received his J.D. from New York Law School. He received his B.S. from the Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations.

Robert is admitted to practice before the United States District Court of New Jersey and Eastern, Southern and Western Districts of New York. He is a member of the New York and New Jersey Bars, and the American Bar Association.

Robert also serves as a member of the ABA Labor and Employment Law Section, Cornell University Industrial and Labor Relations Alumni Association, the National Italian-American Foundation and the Staten Island Historical Society Board of Directors.
